On Monday, I began homeschooling Miss Hannah to get her all ready for Kindergarten in the fall.....and to put it mildly.......It has been one crazy ride! And it's only Wednesday! :)
I have found it quite...ummm...what's the word?...CHALLENGING...
to wrangle an incredibly enthusiastic, yet not entirely focused 4yr. old little girl.
A structured routine we have not yet assembled, as I watch her intensely to analyze her most productive learning style....basically anything with her favorite characters (aka Curious George, Dora, Backyardigans etc.) seems to keep her attention the longest. (no surprise there...I mean, Hannah has envisioned all of these characters as invisible family members for several years now...sometimes we even have them over for dinner!:P )
So for now..we are taking it day by day....breathing deeply...grins*....and enjoying the time together while broadening our minds.
